Duration: 2 minutes of your life.
Are we living in a disconnected connected world?
Never before has this phenomenon been portrayed so poignantly as in this short YouTube film called I Forgot My Phone. It’s already been viewed more than 15 million times in less than 10 days. Ironically, YouTube’s statistics show that the site gets a billion views per day from mobile devices.
In an increasingly digital world, we can often find ourselves a little too absorbed - no matter who you are. We've all rudely pulled out our phone at dinner to check the latest on Twitter or Facebook, and some of us have even put a smartphone in front of our face at a concert to record the action on stage. What are we really trying to capture? And can it be actually captured?
That's not to say that smartphones are evil. But maybe sometimes you just need to put technology down and enjoy life. Watch the video and see what you think.
