Cunninlynguists x Strange Journey Volume 3 (Album Stream/Download)

The Cunninlynguists are my favorite hip-hop collective of all time. From the incredible production handled by Kno and Deacon the Villain, matched with the incredible lyricism and songwriting capabilities from Deacon the Villain and Natti, this album is an incredible representation of what CL is capable of as artists. Standout tracks after the first listen: Guide You Through The Shadows, Kings, Castles, Dying Breed and Makes You Wanna Cry. In my opinion, this is and will remain one of the best albums to drop this year, take a listen and let me know if you agree. Stream the full album below and download it for free until March 31st!!

Grieves x Shreds (Music Video) / WATW Announcement

Rhymesayers MC Grieves releases his latest album Winter and the Wolves recently. This one is NOTHING TO SLEEP ON. Grieves alternative rock influence comes out on this project in the hook's and the production. Grieves obviously went through a recent break up that inspired most of the album's conceptual framework. Take a few minutes out of your day to check out Winter and the Wolves after you listen to the lead single "Shreds".

ASAAD ALEJANDRO JODOROWSKY FLOW (FEAT. AB-SOUL)

Up and coming MC Asaad calls on Ab-Soul to bring us this track off his latest Flowers II Mixtape. This one features a really smooth instrumental to let both of the MC's get their flow on. Check out the song below.

Shamar Talley x Entreproducers - PSYCHE EP STREAM

Frequent BeastCoast collaborators the Entreproducers come together with a new MC Shamar Talley to bring us the Psyche EP. This one is some very unorthodox hip-hop right here, extremely unique production with a raw and gritty delivery from Talley. Check out the full stream below.

Verbal Kent: Sound of the Weapon [Album Stream]

Verbal Kent and Khrysis teamed up to bring this album the Sound of the Weapon which is full of raw dopeness. Peep the full album stream below.

Midaz The Beast x Alternate Universe (Album Stream)

"MidaZ the Beast's AU may very well be the album that will fuck up your whole year. After years of sharpening his blade on a slew of underground projects and turning heads with a handful of recent high-profile guest spots on albums from Oh No, Marco Polo, and Alchemist, the Orlando emcee unveils his full potential on his official debut record. His ferocious attack might be jarring for audiences more accustomed to the sadly typical bland faceless rap of today, while his vivid storytelling may be too much for those who can only digest 140 characters.

Those who aren't ready need not apply.

But for listeners who want to experience a master class on rapping and songwriting, AU is the album that will define 2013. Featuring guest spots from Planet Asia, Roc Marciano, Blueprint, and Sabac Red (Non-Phixion) as well as production from Oh No, Marco Polo, IMAKEMADBEATS, Paten Locke, and TzariZM, AU is home to songs that run the gamut of styles. Songs like the bombastic grand opus "Champion of the Block" and the forebodingly tense "Goldberg" demonstrate that MidaZ is something of a Hip Hop Weapon X with the mic in his hand, while the introspective "Worthless," captivatingly detailed "Jane Doe," and eerie "Coma" reveal that he's the rap game's Alfred Hitchcock when it comes to painting a narrative. Along the way, he also drops smooth braggadocio raps ("Icing on the Cake"), engages in the world's most sinister spitting contest on "Bad Things," and reflects on abstract concepts the hip hop world has never touched on "Self-Actualization."

DC Comets: Monolith Monster [Album Stream]

So Theory Hazit has been on my radar for quite a while now, but I was kinda sleepin on dude. I was recently introduced to his latest album with Cream of Beats called the Monolith Monster. Hazit has a very unique flow and an unorthodox choice of song content, which is a recipe for an original artist. The team together DC Comets come together very well, as the project has a vast amount of range met with an impeccable cohesion artistically. Stream the full album below!

Jay-Z & Jay Electronica - We Made It Freestyle

So I'm not a fan AT ALL of the Souljah Boy and Drake song We made it, but when a couple of true MC's step to the mic on this one, they desecrate it on some real ish, making Drake and Souljah boy look like a joke, furreal. Souljah could barely stay on tempo, but Jay Elect's verse, its like comparing a toddler's finger painting to something of Mona Lisa caliber. And Jay takes shots at Drake, so I wonder how that will turn out. Anyway, check out the heat below.

CYNE x All My Angles Right (Album Stream/Download)

So CYNE (Cultivate Your New Experience) has been dormant for the last 5 years since the release of their last album. But the silence has finally been broken as the collective released their latest project called All My Angles Right. Cise Starr has always been one of my favorite underground MC's so I cannot wait to dive into this album. I haven't given it a full listen through, but there is no way that this group of artists could disappoint me. Check out the full stream of the album below, and if you like it enough drop 10$ and buy it!

Eligh x Young / Eligh and Grouch Tortoise & Crow Album Release

The Grouch and Eligh recently released an incredibly dope, triple album. One is a collab album between them both and the other two are solo albums from both MC's. I feel like this will be one of the most slept on albums of the year so I wanted to post one of the songs one from Eligh's album and let y'all know that the shit is some really dope hip-hop. Peep the song Young below.

Asher Roth x Fast Life f. Vic Mensa (Prod. by Blended Babies) (Music Video)

While we wait for Asher Roth's Retrohash LP, he drops off an incredibly fresh and catchy single featuring SaveMoney's Vic Mensa, who is one of my favorite up and coming MC's at the moment. With the Blended Babies on the boards you can't really go wrong. Check out the dopeness below and be ready for Asher's RetroHash which is out very soon.

Raw Papers Cypher ft. Like of PacDiv, Sir Michael Rocks, Dizzy Wright and Modsun Video

A few really fuckin dope MC's got together to shoot a video for their Raw Papers sponsored cypher. This shit is hella dope, the beats crazy and they all go in, ModSun is kinda weird but Mikey Rocks and Like murder it. Peep the video below.

RatKing f. King Krule x So Sick Stories (Music Video)

King Krule and Ratking decided to link on a track for the Ratking's upcoming project. They also gave this one the visual treatment which turned out really nice. This song is weirdly dope, not what I expected at all, but I find it super catchy. Check out the video below.

Carl Sherron f. Darrell Dvinci - Memoirs

Carl Sherron is getting ready to release his project called The Ages LP. So he decided to give us a single from the project, this one features a guest verse from his homie Darrel Dvinci. This one is really on some real shit, peep the work below and get ready for the new new.

CYNE x Firefights

CYNE is back, preparing to release their first album in the last 5 years. So yes, I am stoked. A lot of dope shit lined up to drop really soon. Anyway, this single is a preview of what we can expect from the album, which we should be gettin soon. Check out Firefights below.

Lupe Fiasco & Ab-Soul x Thorns and Horns (Prod by Floss & Fame)

Ab-Soul has been featured on a lot of dope songs lately, but this one is my favorites of them so far easily. Lupe and Ab-Soul is one of the craziest collabs I've heard so far this year and it came out nuts. The production is very uptempo, giving Lu and Soul the ability to come at the track with a really high energy flow, that turns out fucking beautiful if I had to say so myself. Check out the heat below.

Mick Jenkins x Free Nation Rebel Soldier Pt. 2

Chi towns Mick Jenkins has a lot to say, and has the potential to be one of the illest MC's in the game. Mick has an immaculate flow, with a knack for mind boggling metaphors. Don't sleep on the kid. The Waters is coming soon, for now check out the audio dope below.

Cunninlynguists x Beyond the Sun & Dying Breed (Prod. by Thomax)

The Cunninlynguists (My favorite Hip-Hop Group) are gearing up to release their album Strange Journey Volume 3, which I am incredibly stoked for. They have released a few singles so I wanted to post those and let y'all know the release date is April 1st, on my birthday, coincidence I think not, lol. But stream both of the new singles below and get ready for the new album dropping soon!!!

VDub Sessions // Jabee + Murs play "Gz Era" (Episode 108)

Recently, Murs and one of his new label mates decided to release a video of them performing one of their new songs together. This is a really dope track and got me hyped to hear some new music from Jabee. Check out the dope performance below.

Marrow – Leave It On The Side (Live in Studio)

Marrow is a local band from Chicago, that used to go by the Kids These Days who were affiliated with a really dope MC Vic Mensa. Since their break up as a band, they found a new member and started Marrow. They decided to have some friends over to play a live performance of their new song. Check out the dopeness below.

King Mez x The Coming (Prod. by Elite)

One of my favorite up and coming artists King Mez, returns with a throwaway from the sessions for his new project Long Live The King 2. This one is produced by Dreamvilles Elite. King Mez always has somethin real to say, peep the track below.

Topaz Jones x Honeymoon Suite (Stream/Download)

Topaz Jones is an up and coming artist I have been listening to lately, and patiently waiting for his new project, The Honeymoon Suite. Which when it dropped, I was not disappointed in the least bit. This project is hands down my favorite project that has dropped so far in 2014. What I find really dope about Topaz is his unique flow and beat selection, both are incredibly catchy. Not only that, but he has can also do a little bit of that J. Cole singing that adds a dope touch to most songs. Give this tape a listen and let me know if you agree.

CyHi the Prince x Black Hystori Project Mixtape Stream/Download

G.O.O.D. Music's Cyhi the Prince just released one of the illest project I've heard so far this year in the Black Hystori Project. Not only is his flow on point, with the production to match it, he has a knack for spitting those thought provoking bars you can't get out of your head. With executive production from Kanye you know this shit sonically sounds good, but give it a listen to see what you think.

Isaiah Rashad x Cilvia Demo EP Stream/Download

One of TDE's latest signee's Isaiah Rashad, released his project the Cilvia Demo, with production from Antydote, Black Metaphor, Sounwave and more. This tape is a very strong showing for a debut project, leaving me excited for what is to come for Rashad. Check out the full stream below.

Vince Staples x Shyne ColdChain II (Mixtape Stream/Download)

Vince Staples, who is currently on tour with ScHoolboy Q for the OXYMORON tour, just dropped a really dope mixtape Shyne Coldchain Volume 2. The project features most of the production handled by No ID, and a few tracks from evidence. I knew this kid was dope when I heard Stolen Youth, but this project solidified that feeling. Kid has serious talent, and has a good balance of heartfelt songs, and bangers. Check out the full stream below.

Adrian Lau x Harry Fraud - Projection (Mixtape Stream/Download)

Harry Fraud has an artist on his SRFSCHL label, that is really dope. He has a very interesting flow and content in his lyrics. Fraud decided to Executive Produce the kids entire first project, which bangs. This project has a very interesting sound to it, with both psychadelic and oldschool influences. Check out the full stream below and give it a download if you fuck with it!
