Ab-Soul x These Days ft. The O'My's & These Days Tracklist

Along with all of these upcoming projects, the most highly anticipated is of course the return of Soul Brother Number 2, which will be available for us to download June 24th. Yes your reading that right, Ab-Soul's upcoming album These Days, Mick Jenkins The Water(s) & GQ's Rated Oakland all drop on June 24th. What a beautiful day for hip-hop that will be. Now, Ab has commented saying this is going to be a "Top Dawg Party" and has also released the tracklist, which looks insane. I am incredibly hyped for this project, so get ready for June 24th ladies and gentlemen you know what I'll be doing!! Check out Ab-Soul's title track featuring The O'My's and the traclist and get ready for These Days.

Mick Jenkins x Who Else (Prod. by TJ Osinulu)

And another Chicago MC who should not be slept on (Notice the trend.. The New Mecca has arrived word to THEMpeople) Mick Jenkins, is getting ready to release the highly anticipated The Water(s) which serves as a prequel to his last project Tree's & Truths, which is definitely one of my favorite mixtapes from last year. This dude has some insane lyricism and the depths of his metaphors are crazy as well, along with an immaculate flow this dude is a problem. Check out his track Who Else below and get ready for The Water(s) on June 24th.

Vic Mensa x Down On My Luck (Music Video)

Speaking of Chicago MC's, one of my favorite up & coming artists from Chi-town Vic Mensa released a really dope new song  & video showing his vision and versatility as a musician. Check out the video to Down On My Luck below.

Alex Wiley x Village Party (Mixtape Stream & Download) / Vibration (Music Video)

A few month's ago I became a fan of Alex Wiley after I saw a few of his music videos, about a week ago he released his latest project Village Party, and I'm not it's been in heavy rotation since. From the incredibly dope and fitting production, to Wiley's rapid fire flow and Kid Cudi-esque harmonization, this shit is dope. Standout tracks right off the bat for me: Ducats, Splash Game, Vibration & Takeoff. But there are a lot more I could mention really. Give the project a listen below and check out the video to his track Vibration.

Locksmith x Fuckin idol's (Music Video) / MIssion Underground Team Backpack Cypher

Locksmith hasn't stopped killin shit even after the release of his A Thousand Cuts album. & recently revisted the team backpack cypher's to destroy the mic as usual. Check out the video's below and if you haven't check out his last album A Thousand Cuts.

Statik Selektah ft. Freddie Gibbs & Joey Bada$$ x Carry On

Statik Selektah is getting ready to release his album What Goes Around and released this masterpiece featuring Freddie Gibbs & Joey Bada$$ as the first single. Joey sets it off, and floats over the jazzy backdrop, then lets Gangsta Gibbs bring it home. They carryin' on the tradition on this one.

Saba x Butter / Burnout ft. Eryn Allen Kane

Chicago's Saba is one MC/producer to keep your eye on. This dude has so much versatility artistically and musically. Not only can he produce a bangin instrumental, he's got the rhymes to murder that same beat. He is preparing to release his heavily anticipated ComfortZone mixtape this spring and these last two tracks have served as singles from the upcoming project. Take a listen to Butter & Burnout ft. Eryn Allen Kane below and get ready for ComfortZone.

HS87 x We The Plug (Album Stream)

Hitboy's HS87 dropped their album We The Plug, and its super dope. Although the rhymes on this album aren't the best lyrically, it's a really dope listen for most hip-hop fan's. Hit-Boy and his team of producers provide some really sick beats, starting off with the epic Plug Music, which is one of my favorite tracks on the album. With features from Nipsey Hussle, K-Roosevelt, Audio Push, Young Thug & Kurupt, there's a lot of variety on this project.  Stream the album below & see what you think.

Pro Era x The Shift (Stream & Download)

Flatbush's Pro Era came together to drop their follow-up release to Peep: The aProcalyse a few weeks ago. This one features in-house productions and one really dope featured verse from Jakk the Rhymer. The 5 song EP gives us something to bump while we wait for B4DA$$ and solo projects from the Era. Stream the project below and see what you think.

Harry Fraud & The Internet x Better Liar

Since I just posted a single from Converse's CONS Vol. 2 I wanted to share one of my favorite tracks from the first volume. Check out Harry Fraud & The Internet's collab on Better Liar below.

Vince Staples & Bad Rabbits x Made

Converse recently released their CONS Vol. 1, which is a compilation mixtape that has collaborations from some really dope up & coming artists and established artists in the industry. There now preparing to release Vol. 2 and Made with Vince Staples and Bad Rabbits serves as one of the singles. I really enjoy Staples delivery & honesty as an MC and the Bad Rabbits provide a dope lush instrumental for him to lay a verse down on. This track is jammin', check it out and comment on the track below.

Big K.R.I.T. x Mt. Olympus (Music Video)

Big K.R.I.T. is preparing to release his new album Cadillactica, and let's loose one of the nastiest songs of 2014 as the first single. Mt. Olympus features Krit flexing to the max and calling out the mainstream hip-hop culture on several levels. One noteworthy bar being, "You telling me I could be the King of Hip-Hop and they won't give it to Andre 3000??", this track shows how hungry Krit still is, goin on his 5th album, and he won't be letting up soon. In my opinion, Krit will go down as one of the most influential MC's of our generation, this track serves as a good example why.

Rapsody x Betty Shabazz (Music Video) (Prod. by 9th Wonder)

Jamla's Rapsody is one of the most slept on MC's in the game, hands down. Coming up as a female rapper these days is tough, and Rapsody sounds prepared for the battle. This track has some incredible production from 9th Wonder, and was featured on the mixtape Jamla Is The Squad. So check out the track below and see if you agree.

Flatbush Zombies & Trash Talk x 97.92 (Music Video)

A few days ago the Flatbush Zombies released visuals to their new collaboration with band Trash Talk called 97.92. This is honestly one of the dopest hip-hop videos I've seen in a while shot from 7 different angles which created an incredible trippy effect. Check out the new heat below, and get ready for their new project Its All A Matter Of Your Perspective.

Gabriel Teodros x Children of the Dragon (Album Stream)

Pacific Northwest rapper Gabriel Teodros just released his latest album Children of the Dragon just released an incredibly wavy project, with a beautiful message. This project is honestly some incredible music, not even confined to the genre of Hip-Hop. He also released a visual stream that I'll post below. Check out the project below!

Little Dragon x Paris

Today, Little Dragon dropped a new album called Nabuma Rubberband so I wanted to drop one of the singles from the project in celebration. This is some groovy shit, as expected, Little Dragon steady bringin the smoothness. Check out the song below, and if you dig it check out their album!

Atmosphere x Camera Thief (Music Video)

Recently, one of my favorite underground hip-hop groups Atmosphere, released their latest album The Southsiders LP. This project sounds so familiar but has a completely new feel, if that makes any sense. Slug has not lost a step and Ant offers up some incredible instrumental canvas for him. I'm posting the video for the track Camera Thief because it's one of my favorite tracks from the project, and to advocate taking a good full listen to this project. Check out the video and see what you think??

Hassani Kwess x From The Kradle To The Gates (Stream / Download)

Recently, DMV rapper Hassani Kwess released his latest project From The Kradle To The Gates, featuring some incredibly abstract production from himself under the alias Sir Rajin Duke Nasty and Jay Card as well as Royal of Fresh Republic. This project is an incredibly well thought out piece of work. From the intro the incredible outro, the message is very cohesive and Kwess executes with precision with his lyricism and interesting style of production. This is a really dope listen for people who enjoy conceptual albums, give it a listen below and see what you think.

Alex Wiley x Ova (Produced by Odd Couple)

Chicago MC Alex Wiley is gettin ready to release his new project Village Party. Ova serves as one of the first singles from the forthcoming project, featuring production from Odd Couple. This track is incredibly dope, and filled with a lot of good content lyrically and musically. Check out the track below and get ready for Village Party.

Bas x My Nigga Just Made Bail ft. J. Cole (Music Video)

A few weeks ago, J. Cole's lablemate Bas released his latest offering, Last Winter. In celebration, he releases the video to one of the stand out tracks on the project featuring Cole. This song is good example of what you are to find on this project, which I would recommend giving a listen. Check out the video below.

Intuition & Equilibrum x Weight Is Gone Live In-Studio Performance

Producer/MC combo Intuition & Equilibrum returned a few weeks ago with their new self-titled album and its super dope. This video, on their podcast, serves as some promotion for people to check out the album. So check out the video below and see if you like it enough to check out their new work. Cheers.

Mindbody & Beats x Beat Tape Vol 2 (Stream / Download)

The duo from Salt Lake City, Utah has been grindin. Their project is just a preview of what is to come for these incredible talented cats, but its a dope ass preview. The group consists of Twuan & Maytricks, and at 17 & 18 years old these guys are killin shit. They have a really dope style, which reminds me of some DJ Shadow type trip-hop shit mixed with some new age shit. Anyways, check out the promo video and the whole project below. Oh and be on the lookout for some Freedumb Wrighterz x Mindbody & Beats collaborations in the future.

ProbCause x Waves (Album Stream)

A super slept-on dope MC from Chicago named ProbCause came out with his new album Waves with features from Chance the Rapper, Twista and the Hood Internet. From the intro I was immediately impressed by the Chi town rapper again for his unique delivery and production. Check out the full project below, via Spin.com and see what you think.
